Contact
If water is running, close the shutoff first and then call; the phone is faster than the form when something is actively leaking. For anything that can wait a day, the form is fine and lets you describe it properly.
Phone
Serving Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Hialeah and Kendall. Calls may be recorded — see the disclosure.
What the plumber will ask
Having these answers ready makes the call short.
- Your ZIP code, which decides which company covers you.
- House, townhouse or condo, and for a condo, the floor and whether you have told the manager.
- Which fixture or area, and whether it is clean water or drain water.
- Whether the water is stopped, and whether you found the shutoff.
- Roughly how old the building is.
- Whether you would prefer to speak Spanish.
What can be answered on the phone
Whether something needs a visit today or can wait for a weekday. Whether a problem sounds like one fixture or the main line. Whether a condo leak is likely to be the association's question as well as yours. Roughly what the visit will cost to start. What cannot be answered is the final price of anything behind a wall, under the slab or in the sewer lateral; that waits for someone to look, usually with a camera or a leak test.
If you rent, or live in a condo
Renters should tell the landlord or property manager first, in writing, because Florida law puts keeping the plumbing in working order on the landlord, and many leases say who may hire a plumber. Condo owners should tell the building manager before a plumber arrives: most Miami buildings want the contractor's insurance certificate on file, the service elevator booked, and a say in anything that touches a riser or a shared wall. None of that should stop you closing a valve when water is running. It just saves an argument afterwards about who should have been called.
Calls are recorded
You will hear a short announcement before the call connects. Florida requires everyone on a call to consent before it is recorded, and that announcement is the notice. Recordings are kept so the details of a job are not misremembered, and for nothing else. If you would rather not be recorded, use the form.

Common questions
Can I send a photo?
Describe the problem in the form and mention you have photos; the plumbing company can ask for them when they call back. A photo of the water heater label or the pipe under the sink saves a lot of description.
Do you answer at night?
The hours are listed on this page. Outside them, leave a message or send the form, and if water is running, close the main shutoff while you wait.
Send the details
Say what is happening and where, and a local plumbing company will call you back to set a time. Phones answered Mon–Sat, 8am–6pm · after hours, leave a message or send the form Or call (786) 432-8693 if water is running right now.
